Up Here: How to Get on Top of the Van

Steam defines Up Here! as getting on top of the van for the first time. A dated community achievement guide describes the following route:

Stand at the front of the van.
Jump up and open the hood.
Use the open hood as the intermediate step.
Jump from the hood onto the roof.
Move across the roof if the achievement does not register immediately.

The achievement requirement is official; the hood route is community-documented Early Access guidance. If the geometry or interaction changes in a later patch, use the current build's collision and report the difference rather than assuming the achievement is permanently broken.

Dead Me: How to Get Revived

The official achievement is named Dead? Me? and requires the player to be revived after passing out in game. Community guides consistently describe another player using a Defibrillator on the downed body.

The beginner guide explains how the van map can support the rescue. A solo player cannot complete a teammate-performed revive alone. Exact revival timing and health values are version-sensitive and are not claimed here.

Repair and Escape Achievements

For First Day Star, First Day Fail, Worst Mechanic and Tire-d, use the current interaction prompts rather than an old QTE-only video. Patch Notes #010 replaced the older single interaction pattern with five named minigames and HOTFIX #010.1 improved the new part indicators and supported input bindings.

The van repair guide owns the current repair mechanics. This page keeps the achievement intent separate so it does not compete with that repair page for its primary keyword.

Weather and Hazard Achievements

Several achievements require experiencing hazards rather than surviving them efficiently. Do not turn an achievement attempt into a claimed best strategy. High Up, Electrified, On Fire, Mary Poppins, Benjamin, Who? and The Suck Zone state their requirements on Steam; the safest repeatable route can still change with balance and weather behavior.

Version-Sensitive Achievements

Achievement behavior is version-sensitive. Patch #009 changed Protocol Nerd so it could be completed from the tutorial poster instead of requiring every cue during active matches. If an achievement does not unlock after its official requirement, first compare the current patch and host/client context, then report the exact steps.

Patch Notes #012 says it fixed the Portable Conductor achievement, Benjamin, Who?, not triggering when its requirement was met. The official requirement remains avoiding lightning damage while holding the Portable Conductor; update the game before treating an older failed attempt as a current bug.

Do not treat an older guide's bug note as proof that the achievement is still broken today.
